Courtney I. Kleiman is a law clerk at the Law Office of James L. Riotto and joined the firm in 2018.
Ms. Kleiman graduated from SUNY Geneseo summa cum laude in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Also, in 2020 Courtney received Kenneth Deutsch legal studies award from Geneseo and her hard work translated into several scholarship offers including full scholarships to Pace and John Marshall Law Schools.
During her time with the Office she achieved many milestones including successfully drafting motions on behalf of clients to have their records sealed and cases dismissed. These accomplishments are more remarkable considering she also attended SUNY Geneseo full time.
Courtney is enrolled at the University at Buffalo School of Law. She competed in UB’s Moot Court annual Desmond Competition and is a founding member of a student organization that promotes law students’ mental health.
Courtney has experience working in environmental law, personal injury, civil rights law, and employment discrimination cases.
Courtney will graduate from UB Law in 2023 and plans to go into litigation.
